TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is valid for 12 months from the member’s sign-up date.
Membership is personal to the named member and cannot be transferred or shared.
The Club member must be present to receive membership benefits or discounts.
Members must present their Tantalus Estate Club Card when receiving benefits or speak with the Club Manager or Duty Manager before payment.
Membership benefits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged or refunded.
MEMBER BENEFITS
Members receive:
DINING AND PURCHASE DISCOUNTS
The maximum dining discount is $200 per bill across both Tantalus Estate and Alibi Brewing Co..
The Club member must be present to receive a discount on a dining bill or an off-premise wine or beer purchase.
Dining discounts apply to food only.
Membership discounts do not apply to beverages consumed on the premises, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Only one membership discount may be applied per bill.
Membership discounts cannot be used in conjunction with another offer, promotion, package or special event price unless otherwise stated.
ANNUAL WINE ALLOCATION
Membership includes an annual allocation of 12 bottles from the Tantalus Estate Reserve range.
A suggested allocation will be provided, which members may accept or adjust by selecting from the eligible Reserve range.
Wine selections are subject to vintage and availability.
The annual allocation applies to each 12-month membership period and does not roll over into the following membership year.
The allocation will be prepared for collection or dispatch once the member’s selection has been confirmed and full payment has been received.
COMPLIMENTARY TASTINGS
Members receive two complimentary standard hosted tastings for two people during each 12-month membership period.
Complimentary tastings exclude exclusive tasting experiences.
Tastings must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
The Club member must be present.
Unused tastings do not roll over into the following membership year.
PRIORITY ACCESS
Priority access is subject to availability and does not guarantee tickets, reservations or access to limited releases.
Advance bookings may be required.
PAYMENT AND RENEWAL
Membership begins on the date the member completes their sign-up and full payment is received.
Before the end of each membership period, members will be invited to choose their wine allocation for the following year.
Membership is renewed once the member’s wine selection has been confirmed and full payment has been received.
Membership benefits and wine allocations may be withheld while payment remains outstanding.
The membership renewal date is based on the member’s original sign-up date and cannot be changed after sign-up.
Members transferring from a previous Tantalus Estate membership must complete a new subscription and enter their payment details again. Payment details from a previous membership cannot be transferred to the new subscription.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
All dining reservations, tastings, events, masterclasses and other experiences are subject to availability.
Tantalus Estate reserves the right to exclude selected products, menus, events or experiences from membership discounts.
Membership benefits cannot be used for resale or commercial purposes.
Tantalus Estate may suspend or cancel a membership if the membership or its benefits are misused.
Tantalus Estate reserves the right to amend these terms, benefits or exclusions. Members will be notified of any material changes.
Nothing in these terms limits the member’s rights under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
